Lines, Shapes, Colours
I am posting this because I like it. I like the enigmatic shapes, the lost-and-found lines, the sympathetic colours.
It is a close-up of Kalanchoe, taken at the point where the flowers were just beginning to fade.
As usual, I took it pointing into afternoon sunlight. I wanted plenty of light in the picture. In these straitened times I wanted something airy and uplifting, that was also enigmatic.
I can see much that is positive in this picture – a jug, a chalice, with the implication of a rejuvenating essence, such as ambrosia.
